The books I read this year were mostly non-fiction (56 percent), mostly Adult (67 percent), mostly first-time reads (85 percent), and mostly standalone books (77 percent) instead of part of a series. There were four books that I started and did not finish, but read enough of to include here.

Of the 52 books I read this year, 32 (61.5%) were written by women. Jeremy and I read seven of the same books this year. Miriam and I read five of the same books this year.

Slightly more than half of the books I read this year were on a Kindle or the Kindle app on my phone. The rest were mostly hard copy (only two audiobooks this year). I bought or already owned three of the books I read this year (Guest House for Young Widows, Logavina Street, and Sweet Valley Saga). The rest I checked out from the library.
